Private Beach Trips

WE MAKE IT EASY BREASY!

We promise, this won’t be hard work! In fact, we’ll do everything we can to make this the highlight of your visit. A day on the boat with us can be anything you want it to be!

Want to fish for a couple hours then go get lunch and wander around one of the unique outer islands like Useppa, North Captiva or Cabbage Key? No problem. Maybe you want to scour a remote beach for shells at sunrise, then chase some fish while the tide flows back in? We can do that!

We run family friendly charters, so young children (accompanied by adults) are always welcome!

No matter if you want to chase a trophy fish or catch some dinner, we’re here and ready to help. Your day with us can be anything you want it to be, just ask. We’ll do everything we can to make sure your trip is memorable!

WHEN TO BOOK:

Book early and book often!

We have been chartering on the islands for a long time and are proud of the amount of return customers we have each year. We are full time guides and are on the water pretty much every day mother nature allows.

That said, during high season we can sometimes be booked out well in advance, and we encourage all our customers to schedule their dates as early as possible. We will always be as flexible as we can, but booking early makes it easier on everyone. If weather hinders our ability to get out on the water we will try rearrange days or times to accommodate if possible.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Sunscreen
  • Food & Drinks
  • Comfortable Clothes

They don’t call it “The Sunshine State” for nothing. Sunscreen is always recommended. Covering up your skin is important. A hat or some type of head covering is nice to have as well as a bandana. Long sleeves, especially those that breathe and wick moisture are great for warm sunny days and cool windy ones. Remember that it’s cooler in the mornings and evenings so a light jacket is never a bad idea, especially if you run cold.

THE BOAT:

We have a 25 Foot Center Console manufactured by Carolina Yachts. The boat is wide, stable and secure. It is custom rigged for this area and is comfortable in shallow back bays as well as in the open waters or the Gulf of Mexico. The boat is dry, wide, and offers plenty of seating for up to 6 people.

The boat is equipped with dual swim platforms to make impromptu swimming or shelling excursions easy. A T-top and a collapsible Bimini top will provide some shade on the hottest of days. Additionally, we have a tower with a second station to provide some extra deck space, and gives us a height advantage to spot fish at a greater distance.

The boat has the latest electronics from Simrad, a large live well, and plenty of cooler space for the day’s catch or any essentials you may bring along.

We have all essential USCG equipment on board and are ready to help you make the most of your adventures here on the islands!

FISHING GEAR:

We’ll have all the tackle you’ll need to catch any fish we may encounter here in Sanibel & Captiva. We use the latest, high quality gear from major tackle manufacturers like Shimano. All essential needs like leader, line, live bait, nets & gaffs will be on board. Most importantly we’ll bring the knowledge to ensure you and your guests get the most from your day. Fishing licenses are included in your charter.

THE FISHING:

Fishing here in Southwest Florida is exceptional! It is one of the most diverse and productive fisheries in the world. No matter if your seeking a simple, fun filled day chasing Snook, Redfish or Speckled Trout, or hoping to catch a trophy Tarpon, Permit, Goliath Grouper or Kingfish we can help put you on the fish!

Obviously, many of these species are seasonal in the region, so be sure to follow our fishing reports and social media accounts so you know what we are catching during your visit!

We fish the inshore and nearby waters of Southwest Florida inside of 9 miles. This fishery holds an astounding diversity of fish and never leaves us without many options on what species to pursue.

Of course, we’ll be happy to help you clean and fillet your catch as well as ice it down for safe handling.

If you have any special requests, be sure to let us know when booking your adventure so we can do everything we can to help you have the most memorable experience possible!

SHELLING & BIRD WATCHING CHARTERS:

Shelling Charters Sanibel

Southwest Florida and the surrounding islands is as diverse of an ecosystem as there is anywhere in the world. The area is obviously renowned for exceptional shelling on our vast number of beaches. The outer islands and preserves such as Cayo Costa state park offer miles of untouched beaches to explore and treasure hunt upon.

These islands offer a rare opportunity to see our wildlife on full display! Ospreys, Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Dolphins and Manatees all make their homes here providing a unique chance to view them in their natural habitat.

We ask that all our guests be respectful of the beaches and waterways. Please be sure to release any live shells, and please don’t leave any litter behind so that others may experience the beautiful beaches and islands of the area.

SIGHTSEEING EXCURSIONS:

There is so much to see here on the southwest coast. Thousands of small (and some rather large) islands dot the region. The amount of wildlife that is present year round is amazing! Sometimes people just want to take a day or a few hours and explore.

Capt. Bryan was raised here and will provide a unique perspective on some of the history of the area, and show you some of the local flavor that you couldn’t possibly experience from land! Come explore with us!
